Job summary

Dental Arts of Oliver Springs is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients from the start of their dental journey, help ensure comfort, and support providers with a range of procedures in a collaborative environment.

Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography) and provide four-handed chairside assistance. Dentrix is used for scheduling and records; OSHA/CDC safety rules are followed daily.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
If required by state, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and educate for comfort.
Review health history to provide quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment room per safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders.
Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
