Job summary

Cedar City Dental Care in Tennessee is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays using iTero 3D scanner, and provide four-handed chairside assistance to supported dentists.

You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and prepare treatment rooms in line with OSHA and CDC guidance while assisting with supply management and Heartland Dental systems for improved workflow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
