Job summary

Dental Arts of Oliver Springs is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join a world-class organization with extensive on-the-job training and a clear development path. You will work alongside our hygiene providers to deliver top-quality patient care in a community-focused practice.

Qualifications

• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; HIPAA training required

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to inform quality care
• Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during a wide range of procedures
• Assist with setting up rooms for all hygiene visits including stocking and restocking instruments and supplies
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Collaborate with providers and team to follow office systems and maximize workflow
