Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
• Regular HIPAA training required; protection of PHI and maintenance of data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and sustain patient comfort.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.

Skills

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Excellent communication skills

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Education

Dental assisting school certification
