Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for Aberdeen Dental in Maryland. You will support dentists with a full range of chairside procedures, handle patient education, and ensure smooth workflow with modern tech like iTero and Dentrix.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment room following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders.
• Collaborate to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
