Advanced Dental Care of Shady Road in Ocala, FL is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist the dentists during procedures in a modern, patient-centered practice.

You will welcome patients, educate them on oral hygiene, take and develop X-rays, and help with impressions and study models while ensuring infection control and CPR readiness.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or equivalent.
• X-Ray certification required; Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• Healthcare training including CPR and infection control is expected.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions and study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain infection control, patient confidentiality, and OSHA/ HIPAA standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and intake as needed.
