Aspen Dental, We Put You First, is hiring a Dental Assistant in a full-time role in the Florida/Venice area. You will assist during treatments, take x-rays, prepare the operatory, monitor patient flow, and ensure infection control while educating patients on oral care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with patients.

• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team for patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by state; X-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies.
