Job summary

Towncare Dental of Naples is looking for a Dental Assistant in Naples, FL to support the clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting dentists during procedures, and taking and developing X-rays. You will educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and maintain patient records with attention to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience with documentation.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Nitrous oxide certification recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
