Dental Assistant - Los Angeles - Korean/Mandarin speaking

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a motivated and bilingual Dental Assistant to join our dynamic mobile dental team in Los Angeles. This role is particularly suited for those who are fluent in Korean and/or Mandarin, as you will be working closely with diverse patient communities. As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality dental care to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during procedures, taking dental radiographs, and managing patient records. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled in dental assisting but also passionate about fostering positive patient relationships and ensuring their comfort throughout the dental process. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving the oral health and overall wellness of our patients. Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before dental procedures.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in Korean and/or Mandarin to enhance their understanding of treatment plans.
  • Support the dentist and the rest of the healthcare team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
  • Current certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
  • Fluency in Korean and/or Mandarin is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse patient population.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mobile care environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a compassionate attitude.
