Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
• Ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs
• Take and process X-rays of patients
• Perform lab tasks as instructed
• Greet patients as they arrive and schedule appointments
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• Handle general administrative duties to maintain the dental practice
• Deliver oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self‑motivated work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with co‑workers and patients
• Driven personality who strives to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for patients
• Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms
• Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants
