Smile Starters, a pediatric dental practice in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an experienced dental assistant II to join a collaborative team of hygienists, assistants, and dentists. You will greet patients with warmth, prepare for treatments, and assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry while maintaining instrument sterility and clear patient records.

The role values strong communication, organization, and the ability to thrive in a busy, active office.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR Certification.
• Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program.
• Coronal Polishing Certification and Nitrous Oxide Certification a plus.
• Bilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families to the office with professionalism and warmth.
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort.
• Assist the dentist chairside using 4-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulatory standards.
• Schedule appointments and assist with payment procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Support the dental team with other duties as assigned.
