Job summary

Frontline-Dental-Implant-Specialists is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant in Amarillo, TX to support doctors and hygienists with chair-side care and patient education. The role emphasizes accurate chart reviews, consent documentation, and a calm, collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a radiography certificate and a Dental Assistant credential, with CPR-BLS preferred and nitrous oxide certification possible in the state.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Radiography certification required.
  • Dental Assistant certification.
  • Current CPR-BLS certification preferred.
  • Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and assist doctor and/or hygienist(s).
  • Review patient charts before arrival and document health history.
  • Ensure all consent forms are completed prior to procedures.
  • Perform basic dental procedures such as cleaning, X-rays, and impressions.
  • Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory before/after appointments.
  • Track lab cases and monitor dental supplies.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and OSHA/BBP compliance.
  • Educate patients and address questions to alleviate concerns.
  • Assist administrative team with scheduling patients.
