Affordable Dentures & Implants in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to provide chairside support and guide patients through every stage of their treatment in a fast-paced prosthodontic practice.

You will assist with dentures, dental implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, prepare operatories, take radiographs, and educate patients on treatment plans and home care while maintaining the highest infection control standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; DA/X-ray cert where required by state.
• Good communication and patient service skills; able to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism and compassionate patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and expanded duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
• Obtain and document medical histories and treatment notes; take dental radiographs per state requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and manage inventory of supplies.
• Support daily office operations and occasional travel for training.
