Affordable Dentures & Implants-Merrillville is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at 1613 E 80th Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410. You will support prosthodontics, dental implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics while delivering patient-centered care.

You’ll work with experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values growth and ongoing training, serving hundreds of patients each year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state) is required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and related duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, post-operative care, and financial packages.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document clinical information.
