Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants in Lake Worth, TX is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join a busy clinical team. You will provide chairside support during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and prosthetic treatments, while educating patients on plans and aftercare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and expanded duties where state law permits.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care and financial packages.
• Obtain and document patient histories and treatment information accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
