Benevis, a leading dental care provider, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support clinicians, prepare treatment rooms, take x-rays, and educate patients while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced dental office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred by state practices.
• Certified dental assistant credentials preferred by state practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Ensure hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for use.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste and impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment and documentation in patient charts.
