Benevis is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our team and support the dental care staff in delivering high-quality care. You will assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, prepare materials, sterilize tools, and help educate patients and families about oral health.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Location varies by office; flexibility for schedules is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred according to state regulations.
• Certified Dental Assistant credentials preferred according to state regulations.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus (location dependent).

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Responsible for the operational readiness of the hygiene bay and operatory rooms.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment: document patient information and procedures in chart; suctioning and retractors during surgery; pour, trim and polish impressions; fabricate custom trays.
• Perform to the highest integrity by adhering to regulations and company standards.
