Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, manage instruments, suction, and ensure patient comfort.
- Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
- X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays following safety protocols.
- Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
- Records Management: Update patient records and dental charts accurately in EHR systems.
- Infection Control: Follow sterilization and disinfection protocols strictly.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage and confirm patient appointments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
- Certifications and Skills: Must have current CPR, Coronal Polishing, and X-ray certifications. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. A compassionate approach to patient care is required.
