Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking an on-call Dental Assistant at our Federal Way Dental Clinic. The role supports the dental team in procedures and patient care, with focus on accuracy in records, inventory management, and safety protocol adherence.

Ideal candidates hold WA licensure and BLS, are fluent in English, and may be bilingual in English/Spanish. Prior dental assistant experience is preferred, and duties include training new staff and maintaining quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid WA State license and BLS certification.
• Excellent customer service; ability to read and write English.
• Preferred bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental provider in procedures per WA State Dental Practice Act.
• Maintain MSDS records, spore test, and inventory of dental supplies.
• Train new Dental Assistants, organize schedules, and generate maintenance checklists.
• Support orthodontic and other dental procedures as needed.
