Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking an On-call Dental Assistant I for our Des Moines Dental Clinic in Washington. The position supports providers in delivering dental care and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Required WA Dental Assistant license and BLS, with strong organization, computer skills, and dental software experience (Dentrix, Allscripts PM). Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Dental Assistant license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dental assisting education or experience.
• Familiarity with computers and dental software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and depart patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Provide patient education and instructions before, during, and after procedures.
• Schedule appointments and register patients in Dentrix and Allscripts PM.
• Complete thorough charting in Dentrix using SOAP or PARTS format.
• Measure vital signs including blood pressure as directed.
• Maintain sterilization methods and OSHA compliance in all areas.
