Requirements include completion of a dental assistant program or 1+ year experience, WA DOH registration, and BLS CPR within 90 days. English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 1+ year of experience.
• Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required
• BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong infection control and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple procedures.
• Escort and greet patients; ensure patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Assist with patient charting, vitals, and dental documentation in Dentrix/Allscripts.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Support scheduling, inventory, supply ordering, and quality improvement activities.
• Train new staff and assist with competency testing and ongoing education
