Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers' Everett Dental Clinic is seeking an ON CALL Dental Assistant I, II or III to join a busy practice. Candidates must be available on Saturdays and have orthodontic experience preferred.

The role supports the dental provider across procedures under WA State Dental Practice Act and requires strong English communication and customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining MSDS records, spore testing, inventory management, training new assistants, and scheduling

Hourly range: $21.69 – $23.57.

Position Summary

ON CALL Dental Assistant position available for our Everett Dental Clinic. Candidates must be available on Saturdays. Orthodontic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental provider in the delivery of all procedures authorized under the WA State Dental Practice Act, including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Maintain accurate records for material safety data sheets (MSDS) and spore testing.
• Inventory dental supplies and manage supplies management.
• Assist in training new Dental Assistants and organize schedules to produce checklists for procedure maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid WA state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, organizational skills, dental record experience, and proficiency with computers.
• Excellent customer service skills; strong communication abilities in written and spoken English.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Additional qualifications for each level:

• Dental Assistant II: Minimum 6 months work experience and completion of a formal Dental Assistant program.
• Dental Assistant III: Minimum 2 years experience and knowledge of sterilization methods, OSHA regulations, and quality improvement. If no formal training, minimum 3 years experience.
