Job summary

North American Dental Group in Pittsburgh is hiring a Full-time EFDA or Dental Assistant with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. You will partner with the practice team to deliver high-quality patient care and support restorative dentistry.

The roles pay around $32 per hour for EFDA and $20 per hour for Dental Assistant, depending on experience. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM–5 PM, two Fridays per month 7:45 AM–1 PM.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to exceptional patient service and education.

Responsibilities

Pay range -

EFDA- $32/an or higher dependent upon experience

Dental Assistant- $20/an hour or higher dependent upon experience

Smiling from Open to Close

Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM to 5 PM(with one hour lunch)

Two Fridays a month 7:45 AM to 1 PM

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

• Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
