Advanced Dental Care of Streetsboro is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our Heartland Dental supported office. The role requires Ohio X-ray certification and a passion for patient-centered care.

You’ll assist dentists with a range of procedures, manage scheduling with Dentrix, and maintain a safe, organized treatment environment. Growth opportunities and ongoing training are offered within Heartland Dental’s network.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in dental assisting and/or X-ray certification is required.
• Solid knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguarding awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders to maintain inventory.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
