Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
• Certification in dental assisting or x-ray as required by state.
• Regular HIPAA training required to protect PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide education throughout treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.

Skills

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment

Education

Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
