Job summary

Cincinnati Dental Services - Edgewood - Freedom Park, a Heartland Dental supported office, is seeking a Dental Assistant with 1 year of prior dental assisting experience. You will greet patients, review health histories, assist dentists chairside, take X-rays, and maintain a clean, safe treatment room.

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu 7:45am-5:00pm; Wed 6:45am-4:00pm; Fri 6:45am-1:00pm (one hour lunch). Heartland Dental offers competitive benefits, hands-on training, and stability from a large network

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology required.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness required.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
