Heartland Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join Dental Care of Braselton, a growing practice in Braselton, GA. You will support a busy schedule, assist with endodontic and implant procedures, and work closely with a doctor performing advanced treatments.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, thorough health history reviews, and four-handed chairside support across a range of procedures while maintaining strong OSHA/CDC compliance and using Dentrix for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• PHI protection and HIPAA training compliance

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines
• Manage supply levels and place expeditious orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow
