Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Assisting program or 1 year of experience.
• Current Dental Assisting Permit.
• Current CPR certification.
• X-ray certification required for chairside duties.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures.
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms and equipment.
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment.
• Assist with brackets, bands, wires, aligners, and appliances.
• Take dental impressions, scans, radiographs, and records.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control.
• Provide oral hygiene and appliance care instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate lab cases.
