Job summary

Ideal Dental in Oklahoma City is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a clinician-led, growth-focused practice. You’ll assist with procedures, take X-rays, maintain infection control, and help educate patients to support long-term oral health.

You’ll be trained with advanced tools, including iTero scans, impressions, and charting, while collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional patient experiences. A valid RDA license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 6–12 months experience as an RDA in a dental practice; travel may be required for DeNovo offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and a smooth treatment process.
• Take dental X-rays with precision to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories after procedures; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostic data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation; support doctors with treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
