Job summary

Ideal Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support our clinician-led, fast-growing group. You’ll assist with a wide range of procedures, take dental X-rays, perform iTero scans, and prepare and break down operatories to keep patient visits efficient.

You’ll uphold infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, record medical histories, and collaborate with the team to ensure outstanding care. An active RDA license and CPR certification are required, with 6–12 months of RDA experience;

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs.
• Ensure infection control standards are met.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take accurate impressions and bite registrations.
• Conduct digital iTero scans.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the entire practice team.
