Job summary

West Bradenton Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Bradenton, FL. You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, and provide four‑handed chairside assistance to our dentists in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining Dentrix scheduling, preparing rooms per OSHA/CDC guidelines, managing supplies, and supporting the team to optimize workflow while ensuring patient comfort and high care standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required under state act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Regular HIPAA training and data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
