Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in Rockford, MI. You will greet patients, assist dentists, take x-rays with iTero 3D scanning, and support patient education throughout treatment. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record keeping in Dentrix, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• HIPAA training and data protection awareness are required.
• Preferred experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, ensuring comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide high-quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments with iTero 3D scanner and digital photography.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists with four-handed dentistry.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
