Job summary

Children's Dentistry of Chattanoga PLC is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant for pediatric care. You will assist the dentist chairside with exams and procedures, and may perform polishing and sealants to support patient treatment plans.

Role involves educating patients on oral hygiene and maintaining accurate visit records, with possible work at multiple locations. Day shift, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED equivalency, Registered Dental Assisting License.
Radiology, nitrous monitoring, coronal polishing and sealant certifications preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
Able to read, analyze, and interpret doctor instructions and follow detailed directions.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Previous dental experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside with pediatric procedures including extractions, fillings, pulpotomies and crowns.
May perform coronal polishing and place sealants.

$18 - $25 per hour

Preferences

Radiology, nitrous monitoring, coronal polishing and sealant certifications are preferred. If you do not current possess all certifications, we will make a plan to help you obtain those upon hire.

Job Description

Assistants may also perform coronal polishing and place sealants. A detailed record of each visit is documented and any future treatment needed is planned. Assistants must educate patients and parents of good oral hygiene techniques and maintain daily schedules to ensure workflow efficiency and patient flow. This role may require working in multiple locations, so flexibility is a plus.
