Job Summary

We are seeking an amazing dental assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience in general dentistry. Our modern hi-tech practice uses Cerec daily and offers a rewarding, fun environment. We are located at 355 Parkway 575, Woodstock, GA 30188. Our practice strives for uncompromising excellence in dentistry.

Full‑Time Schedule

• 4 Days/Week
• Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Full time employees receive access to our comprehensive benefit package within their first 60 days of employment.

Job Duties

• Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
• Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
• Promotes an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene, questioning patients to ascertain home care status, and instructing patients in techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol.
• Maintains a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Reviews the health history, makes chart entries under the direction of the dentist, and ensures completion of forms and signatures.
• Assumes the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
• Familiarizes the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provides support and compassion to that patient when needed.
• Stocks operatories and maintains clinical supply inventory.
• Reviews daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Follows practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, periodontal program, and emergency treatment.
• Demonstrates complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups, and instrument sharpening.

Compensation

Compensation based on experience: starting at $26/hour
