Balance Advanced Dentistry & Orthodontics in Duluth, GA seeks a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team chairside during orthodontic procedures, manage supplies, and keep patients comfortable and informed. You will operate in a fast-paced, patient-first environment with a focus on accuracy, sanitation, and clear communication.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required; certifications listed in posting support your qualifications.

Clinical Excellence in Orthodontics: Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in providing top-tier orthodontic care. In this role, you will work chairside to assist with procedures, manage clinical supplies, and ensure our patients feel comfortable and informed. This position requires a professional who can balance technical precision with a warm, patient-first attitude.

Pay

• $20 - $25 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Every other week).

Requirements

• Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in English and Spanish to support our diverse patient population.
• Software Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Eaglesoft and Cloud 9.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.

Preferences

• Previous experience specifically in an orthodontic setting.
• Current X-ray/Radiology certification.

Job Description

• Chairside Assistance: Provide expert assistance during orthodontic adjustments, bondings, and appliance removals.
• Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for treatment, and provide clear instructions on oral hygiene and appliance maintenance.
• Clinical Records: Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and dental impressions.
• Sanitation: Maintain strict sterilization protocols, autoclaving instruments and disinfecting treatment areas between appointments.
• Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient charting and update electronic medical records.
