Job summary

IQ Dental Group - Lake Forest in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry practice. The role supports the dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience and welcomes candidates with 1+ years of experience.

Responsibilities include assisting dentists during procedures, preparing rooms, taking and developing x-rays, educating patients, maintaining records, and helping with scheduling.

Qualifications

• Assist dentists during a range of dental procedures (restorative, preventative, surgical).
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per protocol.
• Take and develop dental X-rays and manage patient records.
• Educate patients on oral care and post-operative instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; bilingual in Chinese and/or Spanish a plus.

IQ Dental Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant to join our thriving general dentistry practice in Lake Forest, CA. This role is crucial in supporting our dental team and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Pay

• $22 - $29 per hour

Pay depending on experience; new graduate assistants welcome to apply but at least one year experience is preferred. Bonus if bilingual in Chinese and/or Spanish.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm, with lunch hour from 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Requirements

• License & Certification: Basic life support, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Software Experience: Open Dental
• Clinical Experience: General Dentistry
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice

High school diploma or equivalent.

Current X-Ray Certification.

Demonstrated commitment to patient care and professionalism.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

Preferences

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting.

Proficiency in Spanish and/or Chinese language.
