Job summary

Smileville Family Dental in Alexandria is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing clinical team. This role offers a daytime schedule with a Monday–Saturday shift and a bonus for Saturday work. You will assist the dentist, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, and help patients with post-treatment care.

Local candidates encouraged to apply. Bilinguals welcome but not required. We provide growth, a competitive pay range, and benefits after training.

Qualifications

• Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice.
• Location: Must be a local candidate.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
• Open to entry-level candidates and experienced assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain patient records.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.

Pay

• $17 - $22 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Entry Level: $15 – $17/hour

Experienced: $20 – $22/hour

(Negotiable based on experience)

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift

Hours: Monday–Saturday (Standard working hours).

Work-Life Balance: If you work a Saturday shift, you will receive a scheduled weekday off!

Requirements

• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice
