Big Smile Dental in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant. This role supports dentists chairside, welcomes patients, and helps prepare for treatments while ensuring comfort.

You will select and set up instruments, sterilize equipment, maintain records, perform lab tasks, and provide post-operative care instructions. Qualifications

• Must hold active VA dental assistant license and X-ray certification.
• Dental assistant training or certification required.
• At least 2 years of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside.
• Welcomes patients.
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort.
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed.
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations.
• Maintains accurate patient records.
• Lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories.

Big Smile Dental is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Fredericksburg, Virginia!

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule

Monday through Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm

Every other Friday 7:45am - 2:00pm

60 minute lunch breaks
