Community Health Programs (CHP) seeks a Certified Dental Assistant to support dentists and dental hygienists at the Berkshire region clinic. The role includes reception duties, patient intake, radiographs, and charting while upholding CHP safety policies.

The ideal candidate is a MA-registered CDA with DANB and CPR certifications, able to assist across sites, and comfortable with some Saturday hours. Salary is $24–$28 per hour with benefits at CHP.

Qualifications

• Must be listed with the State of Massachusetts as a Registered Certified Dental Assistant.
• DANB certification is required.
• CPR license must be maintained.
• Front desk reception experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist CHP dentists with instruments, seating patients, and room preparation.
• Greet patients and escort them to the treatment room.
• Take patient vitals and record for dentist evaluation.
• Take dental intra-oral radiographs.
• Gather patient medical history and document current medications and conditions.
• Document blood pressure, weight, and smoking status.
