Job summary

Medix is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team in Coatesville, PA. You will work with dentists to provide high-quality patient care, prepare operatories, and support both clinical and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities include four-handed dentistry, radiographs, infection control, patient education, and assisting front desk during peak times, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule (open until 7:00 PM on Wednesdays).

Qualifications

• Active Dental Radiology Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to pass standard background clearances.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and practice software.
• Competency in chairside four-handed dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat patients, ensure comfort before and after treatment.
• Prepare operatories and instruments for scheduled procedures.
• Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Review patient histories and record chief complaints; take vital signs.
• Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with safety standards.
• Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions.
• Escort patients to checkout after visits and manage infection control.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization equipment per guidelines.
• Monitor operatory stock and assist front desk during peak hours.
• Support clinical and administrative workflows and participate in training.
