Job summary

Specialty1 Partners’ North Penn Endo – Lansdale office is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a busy specialty practice. You will welcome patients, prepare them for treatment, assist with four-handed dentistry, sterilize instruments, and help manage records and scheduling.

You should have at least 1 year of dental assistant experience, knowledge of dental instruments and OSHA standards, and strong communication and organizational skills. A state X-Ray license is preferred where required.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of experience as a dental assistant, specialty preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Well-organized and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the dental office.
• Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring comfort.
• Selecting and set up instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Sterilizing instruments according to regulations.
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Scheduling appointments and post op visits.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Able to work Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM.
