Qualifications

• Certification by a Dental Assisting program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Accreditation which includes coursework in radiation biology, radiation health, safety and protection, fabrication of provisional crowns, coronal polish, application of sealants, set up and monitoring of nitrous oxide.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years dental assisting experience.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to the ethics and code of conduct as established by Marimn Health.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff of all departments of Marimn Health.
• Actively practice infection control techniques as required by OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure all tasks are completed when not involved with patient care.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist during procedures.
• Escort patients to treatment rooms and scheduling desk after visits.
• Schedule patients according to priority and templates.
