Job summary

Urgent Dental Center & Family Dentistry (UDC) in Frankfort, IN is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced practice focused on urgent care, same-day treatment, and an exceptional patient experience.

You will assist doctors, prepare rooms, take X-rays, maintain documentation, and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance while educating patients on post-operative care and keeping the clinical environment clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Certification or credential from a recognized dental assisting program.
• Current radiology certification/license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and other restorative treatments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
• Take dental X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures.
• Support our same-day treatment philosophy by helping ensure patients receive timely and efficient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization protocols.
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral health care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and front office team members to provide an exceptional patient experience.
