Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA and HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care with chair-side assistance.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and radiographs.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory.
• Review patient charts and document health history.
• Schedule follow-up visits and coordinate lab cases.
• Ensure patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies.
