Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Radiography certification required.
• Dental assistant certification as required by state or ability to obtain.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA and HIPAA training maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care with a strong chair-side manner.
• Be present, engaged and ready for all shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver outstanding patient experiences.
• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists and staff to uphold service quality.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and lab tracking.
• Monitor supplies and order using approved formulary when assigned.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and OSHA/BBP safety compliance.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
