Job summary

Dentists of East Clovis is hiring Registered Dental Assistants to support dentists with patient care, chair-side assistance, X-ray exposure, and intra-oral photography. You will help deliver a great patient experience while maintaining sterile, compliant clinical environments in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-mandated certification/licensure.
• Current state license/registration as required by applicable state regulations.
• Dental assisting education or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per guidelines.
