Job summary

Marketplace Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, seeks a Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team. You’ll work with state-of-the-art technology and support a fast-paced practice dedicated to patient-first care.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, taking x-rays, using Dentrix, and maintaining a safe, efficient treatment room. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-focused environments.
• State-required dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if applicable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic images.
• Provide chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders.
• Collaborate with team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
