Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant (EFDA open) for our Harrisburg office. This full-time role follows a Mon-Wed 7:30am-5pm, Thu 7:30am-3pm, and Fri 7:30am-1pm schedule (two Fridays per month) with a salary range of $21–$27/hr based on experience.

You will take and process X-rays, provide chairside assistance, and manage clinical workflow using Dentrix, while adhering to OSHA/CDC safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dental assistant certification is required per state act.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Follow OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
