Job summary

Sunrise Community Health in Loveland, CO is seeking a Dental Assistant - EDDA to support the Dentist in examinations and treatments. Responsibilities include preparing patients, recording histories, taking x‑rays, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with emergencies while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a dental assistant program or AA degree and 1–2 years of related experience, with a strong focus on patient care, documentation in the EHR, and teamwork

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Dental Assistant Program or AA degree from a community college/technical school.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist during examinations and treatments and prepare patients for procedures.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Expose and develop dental x-rays and fabricate temporary restorations or impressions.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
• Document dental care information in EHR and help schedule follow-ups and referrals.
