Job summary

Peak Vista Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Clinical Dental Director, Dentists, and Hygienists in patient care, chair-side assisting, and related duties across Colorado Springs, Fountain, and surrounding areas.

The role requires EDDA certification or equivalent experience, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of chair-side Dental Assistant work, with X-ray and CPR certifications preferred. Travel within Colorado to support sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EDDA Certificate or 3 years of EDDA experience required in lieu of certificate.
• 1 year working as a chair-side Dental Assistant required.
• X-ray certification and CPR certification required.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and hygienists in chair-side procedures.
• Prepare and set up instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean work areas.
• Support front desk tasks including scheduling and patient records.
• Assist in processing encounters, billing and bookkeeping procedures.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

EDDA Certificate or 3 years of EDDA experience

1 year chair-side Dental Assistant experience
